I agree as well. I had Cape Fear Landscaping & Lawn care maintain my lawn for over a year. There first initial clean up of the house was great. After two months they were just mow & go. They just cut the yard and did nothing to hedge and clean up the rest of the yard. During their service there would be several times where I had to cut my own grass, hedge, trim, and clean up because of there lack of service.



In December 2010 there was a tremendous amount of snow and our lawn was covered with ice and snow all month.There was no way they performed any lawn care but still had the audacity to charge us for that month, where they performed no service. I called their office in that regard and their response was they had keep no records and would get back to me, of course they never called back.



Every time I had an issue and called their office they never had an answer and they only time they were concerned with their customer satisfaction was when I called to terminate their services. I would never recommend them to anyone.

I agree with previous reviews....

I agree with previous reviews. They seem to not need business or pick and choose who they want business from. I have called for service and never heard back. I refuse to call again. They could at least have common courtesy to call back and say they are too busy or can not do the job. Will never use them or recommend them.

Lack of Interest

I called on Monday and asked them for an estimate. I gave him my name and number and address and was assured someone would be by. I called again on Tuesday and was told that he himself would be by to give me a quote. I stayed home waiting and still no one showed. I called again on Wednesday and was told several times that they were on their way and still no one showed. On Thursday I called the main office of the company and was assured that they would handle this but after the initial phone call no one would take my calls and I was left with no other course of action but to call a different lawn service who promptly gave me my estimate and scheduled my lawn services. Do not waste your time with this company, they don't seem to need any other business seeing as they are too busy with their current jobs.

Two french drains were poorly installed on my property. The first french drained area turned into a hole whereas before the placement, it was slightly damp on the surface. The second french drained area has the hose coming out in an up-slope where the idea of the french drain is to prevent water from 'pooling' now it's coming in the same way it's expected to go out. The service was very poor and my husband and I were so angry that we didn't bother calling them back to fix it. We have gone with a different lawn service company that is not only meeting our needs, it is also doing the work the right way the first time.
