Provided by YPmobileWhen my friend and I first got there, we all across the parking lot, into the store, and had to go find someone to help us. The first man we walked up to said "you need to grab one of those guys, I can't help you" so I turn to look, of course there's lots of "those guys" and I ask which one and he said "well never mind, you could've grabbed him but he's gone now" and was laughing. Almost as if I was stupid. He was very rude and insulting, I wish I caught his name because if I had-I'd blast it over every social media site there is. When we finally found out salesman, who was great, the process was fine and we sat and chatted with him during the appraisal. Then the offer of $300 came back for my vehicle, I was insulted. I understand a 1996 Chevy van is not worth a lot, however, it IS worth more than $300. Kbb says $1500, another dealer offered me $2300. Yes I know what you are thinking, "well if they made you such a great deal why didn't you take it". Well, that's not the point. I wanted to check several places and accept the best offer, Carmax is typically pretty fair. I guess since I didn't want to purchase a vehicle, you all felt as if I was just wasting your time. Well, you wasted my time and insulted me. I will make sure I tell ALL my friends & family not to visit the Carmax on McPherson church rd in Fayetteville, nc.

Provided by YP.comThis was my first time buying a vehicle from Carmax and I have to say my experience was painless and quick. I purchased a 2013 Cadillac XTS. I worked with two of the most amazing individuals, Ontatio Brewington and Theresa Thomas. They kept me posted on the transfer of my vehicle, any questions that I had they answered, and they always returned my phone calls in a matter of seconds. I highly recommend both these individuals to anyone who is looking to buy a car from Carmax in Fayetteville, NC. Thank you Mr. Brewington and Miss Thomas for being a true representation of customer service.

Provided by YP.comI want to start by saying this adventure to Carmax started out not so great. After pcs ing here i needed a car immediately. My first day I was stuck with a guy who made me feel like a woman who knew nothing and would be easily manipulated. Luckily for me the next day the gentleman who I will leave unnamed was not scheduled to work so i was assigned a new salesperson. MARIA. What can i say about her. She was the most helpful, non pressuring salesperson I have ever dealt with. over the course of a few hours we looked at many vehicles until I found one I loved. At no point did she make me feel like I was wasting her time. She made the whole Carmax experience pleasant and worry free and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle from carmax

Provided by YPmobileWent to buy a newer car, and the selection was good and the sales people there are wonderful. I loved how my husband wasn't pressured into a car we didn't want or couldn't afford.

I recently bought a small SUV from CarMax in Fayetteville, and I was very suprised by my experience. I have owned many cars and have always hated the games at the dealership. When I bought from CarMax, I did all of my research online. I checked out the CarFax Report for the vehicle, did price comparisons to make sure i was not overpaying. Once I decided on the vehicle I wanted I made a call. My sales agent was very friendly, there was no negotiations, no pressure, nothing negative at all about my experience. I got exactly what I wanted, and was off the lot in my new vehicle in about 45 minuets. It was a great experience and I am still very happy with my choice - CarMax.

Provided by YP.comI was all excited about buying a car from this place until I did my research......they wanted to offer 1500 less than what my car was worth but would have profited by 5000.......the car we were interested in was selling for 2000 above the suggested retail price....the salesperson excuse was that they put their cars through a blah blah blah inspection....so what....most of it is done through computers....she said that other dealers jack up their prices so that they can haggle the price...they don't do that.....its the same thing whether you jack up the price and haggle or jack it up and not haggle....at least at the dealerships they will try to meet your price range........
