Very unprofessional !!!! Messed up my SISTER obituary I asked for at least one correct one THE SECRETARY STATES WE WENT OVER THIS .... YEAH I NO BUT I WASN'T BEHIND THE COMPUTER TO CORRECT YOUR TYPOS . DIDNT EVEN DUST THE COFFIN OFF THEY PLACED MY SISTER IN MY MOTHER CLEANED IT OFF !!!!! The day of the wake the funeral home man lower my sister down in the CASKET well my ten YEAR old NIECE was standing there BECAUSE it was 7:oo o clock . The professional thing to do was to state the wake was over an did that once we left ! Very unprofessional very unprofessional very unprofessional !!!!

My daughter just lost her baby he was still born and I contacted Colvin Funeral home to have the baby cremated and these are the worst people ive ever dealt with they lied to us from get go they said they had the baby then said they didn't the owner baldface lied to my family and I.We had the owner Mitch on speaker and he was yelling at me my whole family heard him yelling and he lied to us again said he had the baby we called CF and found out he never picked up the baby.Needless to say I put a stop to him getting the baby and had him sent to Cape Fear Crematories The lady Karen was awesome I told her what happened and she picked the baby up and called me to reassure me that she had the baby she was just awesome.I would never recommend anyone to deal with colvin these people are liers and when I confronted the owner by phone he denied that I ever spoke to him.Long story short I plan to go to the state boared and anyone elese who will listen to me about these horriable people I have never felt so hurt and angry toward a place of buniness such as this.The ony rateing I would give them is hell no I would never take a family member there or recommend these people to my worst enmie

in 2009 I lost my 4 month old son death is a horrible thing but you made a comfortable setting for me & my family
