The Fayetteville Street Maintenance Division is part of the City of Fayetteville Engineering and Infrastructure Department. The Street Maintenance Division provides maintenance to city streets, sidewalks and storm drainage facilities. It also provides street sweeping service to all city streets and thoroughfares. The Engineering and Infrastructure Department also includes the engineering division, which provides engineering and technical support services, including surveying; the design of streets, sidewalks and storm drainage facilities; the provision of design standards and the review of plans submitted for new development; and maintenance of official city maps. Its construction management division provides project management and inspection for city infrastructure improvement projects. The traffic services division maintains the traffic signs, signals and pavement markings on all city streets while the storm water division oversees a comprehensive storm water program. The Fayetteville Street Maintenance Division is located in Fayetteville, N.C.
