My wife and I went in on 10-02-09 in the evening. There were people standing around everywhere waiting on thier orders. We placed our order, paid and went to make our drinks. When we arrived at an unoccupied table we started to sit down and the table swiveled and tilted and was very sticky. So we moved to another unoccupied table and this table also tilted and was sticky, but we stayed because there were no more tables to sit at. We over heard from other people waiting that they had been there 45min-1hr &15min. As I listened for the numbers to be called as the orders were done, I realized they were in no order by a long shot. They would call 161 then 190 and then back to 170 and so forth.. They were not fixing the orders in the order purchased.. The condiment area was gross. These people didn't have thier stuff togather, it was like a gigantic train wreck.

This has to be the best salon I've ever been to! Even on my first visit, they spoke to me as if I had been coming there for years! Like we were great friends already!



All of the staff is very knowledgeable about their tanning products and smoothies, as well as the equipment. The facilty is clean, and well organized and runs very smoothly! Also, the quality of the beds are very nice and the tanning results are awesome! I've never been able to get a great tan in any other salon i've been to.



I'm definetely going to be a permanent member! They're gonna get sick of my face!

Well i have been to alot of tanning salons, from Virginia to North Carolina, by far this one is great in customer service and pricing.. Thank you all for your hard work. Try a smoothie too, there yummy!! Thanks Guys!!

I am new in the area and my neighbor suggested that I go to her salon, Tropical Tan & Smoothies. After reading their reviews, visiting different salons to try their beds and calling around to get the best prices, I did end up going in to visit their salon! WHAT A GREAT CHOICE THAT WAS! Not only is the staff out of this world because of their friendliness. . .You can tell they LOVE their job!! You can also tell that all the customers that were in there LOVE to be there! Great feeling! They even have a kid's room with chalk board walls that my kids absolutely LOVED! Their employees walk you though ever step of the way with explaining the beds, to explaining the lotions and their importance, making sure that you get the best package for you! I can't praise you girls enough! Thanks so much for being the professionals and the great ladies that you are! Oh, their beds are wonderful too! I could tell the difference. . .between their beds and other salon's beds! Tropical Tan & Smoothies have very good beds that I could tell a difference from as soon as I did my session! Thanks for holding your standards high! I will be a loyal tanner as long as I'm in the area!

I've been going to Tropical Tan and Smoothies for two years now and I love it! Customer severice is excellent, tanning beds are great and the smoothies are yummy! I especially love the quality of the tanning beds and the down home feeling you get when you walk in the door. Great jobs ladies! Keep it up!

Thanks to Tropical Tanning and Smoothies, I've started wearing shorts out in public for the first time in 14 years. Everyone there is so friendly and helpful. This is the BEST Tanning Salon I have ever been to. The tanning beds are exceptional with great results. I've only been laying in the tanning beds for alittle over 2 weeks now and I'm darker than I've ever been, and I love it. Thank you so much to everyone that works at Tropical Tanning and Smoothies!!

I love this place, the staff is so friendly. When I first walked into this place the staff made me feel as if I had been going there for years. I loved everything about this place...............I just tanned for the first time today, I can't wait to go back tomorrow.

The staff here go above and beyond!! They are knowledgable on all of thier products and services and always willing to help you! This is the cleanest faucilty to tan around. The beds are GREAT, the atmoshpere is wonderful. The first time you walk in the door you will feel like a regular, I promise you!! The smoothies aren't bad either... :) They are quite delish!!

I just recently started tanning again and just moved to the area. I decided on the place closest to home of course. Well I am glad I made that choice! The very first time I walked in it was like being at home! I was welcomed by friendly staff and very pleased with the facility! The second day I went there they already knew my name. I also have a 2 year old who uses the playroom when I am there and he does very well most of the time but he is a 2 year old and tends to escape from time to time and not once have they showed any frustration toward that. I am definately very pleased with them! If you ever want to feel like your family and get tanned up at the same time then I recommend you try this place first and you won't be going anywhere else. They also have spray tanning available and smoothies and they do facials and waxing as well. Im sure you will not be disappointed.

I love your salon! it's so fresh and fun - love the staff! SO helpful and friendly! You can tell y'all have fun running the salon, and that makes it such an enjoyable experience being there! I moved here from Birmingham, Alabama last year and NEVER visited a salon as fun and friendly as yours!

This salon is by far the best place I have ever tanned. The wait times are a little long at times but it is worth the wait.

Hubby and I get a great deal on tanning package, Clean place, GREAT beds, AWESOME people. They even have a room for the kids to play. Would not think of going to another tanning salon. Oh and the smoothies... YUMMY!!!

I've tanned at quite a few places over the years, but this is one of the best. The staff is always friendly and helpful, offering tips and answering any questions I may have. The beds and waiting area are always clean. Wait times are minimal, even without an appointment. The staff is always coming up with new ways to earn free sessions or lotions. And I love that there is a kids room, because if I don't have a sitter, I can just take the kids along with me so they can play while I tan!

I have been going to Tropical Tan for 2 years. I absolutely love this place, best in town. The service is amazing and I love the beds!! I recommend for anyone. : ]

This place is awesome. It has everything you need in one stop. Waxes, tanning, facials, and even smoothies. The perfect place to go. The staff is outstanding and so very nice. I suggest if you go anywhere this is the place to tan.
