I was referred to this office by a local dentist as a follow up on extensive oral surgery done 2 weeks earlier at the beginning of 2014. The surgeon, after looking at current x-rays taken less than 48 hours prior and inside my mouth, gave me 2 options: 1) I should have him perform "exploratory surgery", or 2) "it could heal on its own". Despite a dry socket almost to my jaw bone, inflammation and the necessity of continued antibiotics, he charged $90 then said I was not "under his care without surgery by him" and refused to prescribe ANY relief for pain. Of course, they scheduled another appointment 10 days later for the "exploratory surgery" option in case I changed my mind about option 2.He either does not understand his profession, or doesn't care. Either way - I HIGHLY recommend you STAY AWAY from this office if you are human and experience pain after oral surgery!

Dr. Jones is obviously very skilled in his trade. He is informative and compassionate at ones chairside. His assistants are the same and very motivating. I would recommend your office to everyone I know.

Dr. Beatty and everyone I came in contact with there understand the patient is almost always out of their element. Dr. Beatty explained the procedure to me on a level I could understand. Maybe more than that, he,and the staff were genuinely personable. The experience was less painful and less stressful that I would have thought possible. If needing such services I really believe you can't find a better place.

Dr. Gary Jones is a very caring, compassionate dentist. He and I have a history of over 14 years and during that time he has shown the utmost concern and care for his patients. I consider him an excellent dentist and a friend. Thank you, Dr. Jones.

DR JONES HAS A GREAT CHAIR SIDE MANNER. HE IS VERY CONCERNED ABOUT PATIENT OUTCOME.

My heart felt thanks to Dr Beatty and his staff for their kind and compassionate help with my Father's dental needs. My Father, who suffered from Alzheimer's disease, needed extensive dental work due to years of neglect. Dr. Beatty and his staff worked with my Father to remove/repair his teeth and repair his gums. Dr. Beatty and his staff followed-up with phone calls and scheduled return visits. Both my Father and I always felt that we were more than a number and felt "right at home" at Sandhills.

I had a dental implant done on February 1st and I have to say that Dr. Gary Jones has to be one of the best.Dr. Jones and his staff were wonderful. I was so nervous when I went in that my blood pressure was up.After sitting for awhile and talking to his staff I was a little more relaxed.The whole procedure only lasted about 30 minutes and I thought it was going to last a few hours.I am the typical person that hates to go to the dentist but I have to say the care I got was the best. Dr. Jones called me that night to make sure I was doing alright.I have to say that I was very impressed with Dr. Jones and his staff. I would recommend then to anyone.

i havebeen to dr beaty 3 times in the past 3yrs and OMG does he have the best help and work ethics i have ever seen...i would go back there netime i needed sumthing surgical done to my teeth or mouth...he has a great crew..so does dr jones...one dental assistant...Lindsay Hibdon...she just has a bubbly attitude towards everyone...great environment i would refer ne one to them...

I brought my son to Sandhills Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery center for the removal of all his wisdom teeth! What an ordeal, but he was cared for by the BEST!...Dr. Beatty. Dr. Beatty called frequently following the surgery to get an update on his healing progress. He didn't charge for the follow-up visit which was a BIG bonus for me as a single mom. I will always bring my family members here for care; even though I live in Virginia!I. Williams

First of all I'd like to say that I DO NOT like going to the dentist. I went in to have an impacted wisdom tooth removed. I was scared out of my mind when I was told that I would being having surgery, which required sedation. Once I spoke with Dr.Gary, I felt so much better. He explained everything and took time to answer my questions and concerns. I should probably state that yes, I teared up, but he and the nurses were understanding and assured me that everything would be fine. After surgery, I was so ashamed of how I acted. I would recommend anyone who needs major surgery to go see Dr. Gary. He’s awesome, the staff is awesome and I will return if ever needed
