Hawley's Bicycle World in Fayetteville, NC was my only choice available when my Cervelo P3 broke and Cervelo decided to overnight me a new P5 through their crash program so I could race at Ironman Louisville that following weekend. Cervelo rushed everything to get it to Hawley's in Fayetteville but strongly recommended that I use another dealer in Raleigh (my first mistake). This began a horrible experience with Hawley's that has cost me thousands of dollars and still I have no working bike, have missed races, and only receive from Hawley's empty promises and "I'm sorry." Their half built bikes I have to keep bringing back because they are not assembled on time or to a functioning standard have been the vain of my race season. To date Hawley's has indirectly caused permeant damage to the frame of the bike by not properly assembling it leaving me with a very expensive yet already flawed bike. The team at Hawley's Bicycle World have misassembled shifters that fell off in the middle of an Ironman, put together brakes that failed in the middle of a race, and flat out lied about pick up times that resulted in me missing a race all together. Has Hawley's offered anything other than "I'm sorry," nope. Hawley's knows that they are the only Cervelo bicycle dealer in Fayetteville, NC. This last time I left my bike with them the first week of September with a promise that I would get a complete bike when I came back from a month long deployment with the Army in time to prepare for Ironman Arizona. Yet, it is 04 October and Hawley's has missed two deadlines that they themselves developed and only had one thing to say to me "I'm sorry, but it's our supplier's fault, they didn't..." It is always the same answer at the store on why they are late, they just blame a supplier or part dealer and tell me another date to come pick the bike up. My girlfriend, friends (when I can't go), and myself have been to their store at least 10 times to pick up the bike only to receive last minute issues, broken promises, or a bike not correctly assembled, but "raceable." I hope that if you are in the market for a high end bike like a Cervelo P5 that you learn from my issues and head to any other bicycle shop in Fayetteville or head to one in Raleigh. Whatever you do, do not trust Hawley's as Hawley's Bicycle World is sub standard at best. Follow the story here: http://goo.gl/gIhQbU

despite what I've read, I've had a pretty good experience here, I got a Bmx bike here a couple years ago and continue to go here for parts when I'm in town
