Had an essentially new mower, but had added too much oil by mistake-that's a. BIG mistake... So I'd drained and replaced the oil with correct amount, replaced the oil-mucked air filter and cleaned out its housing, but the engine refused to start. The tech at Jones told me that since Fayetteville has so few 'small motor' techs, nearly every good business these days was booked out at least 4 weeks (others also had told me a '4 week' minimum wait, "it's the season," they say)--but I could bring it by and they'd put in the work order before the list got even longer. So I brought it; the tech took a look at it and listened to my explanation. He said "wait here. This is an easy problem" and took the mower in the shop. Twenty-five minutes later he was done, came back out with the mower and it started right up. Cost: $24, Time: 25 minutes, Service: excellent. Very competent! --But do remember, I had a simple (easy) to fix problem; anything more serious might have resulted in the 4-week wait.

I was really disappointed in the customer service here since the original owner died; he was great communicator willing to help the son is pulling this business down the drain. If I could rate this business now it would be a 00000000's

I don't generally like to give 5 stars but they surpass my expectations in ALL areas. Shows why they are in business for over 37 years! Repair was done on the spot. The cost was amazing cheap! Hats off to Jones Small Engine Repair! Highly recommend you go there. thank you!

Dropped off my nonworking mowe...

Dropped off my nonworking mower Wed, requested repair and routine maintenance (new blade, etc). Was told that there was no backlog so it w/b ready Sat / Mon. Agreed that they would call me if cost exceeded $100.



Got the voicemail barely 24 hrs later that it was ready - picked it up this morning, working great! The 3 staff members I interacted with were all professional and courteous. Cost was actually slightly lower than I expected. I don't generally like to give 5 stars but they exceeded my expectations in ALL areas.
