Provided by YP.comLafayette Ford is one of the best dealerships I have been in around Fayetteville they are nice and polite and their professionalism over exceed. The sales person that took care of me was Annette Bunce she was one of the nicest person's I know she was extremely caring and she made sure I was happy with my selection. I will definitely purchase other car's from Ford. This is my 4th car and each time I return I am treated just like a new customer. Thank you Annette Bunce "YOU ROCK!"

Provided by YP.comThis is my first review for Lafayette Ford/Lincoln as I had never been to this dealership for sales/service/parts. I happened upon a commercial for "TrueCar" and although the site showed NO "TrueCar" dealers in the area, I received a call from Lafayette Ford, from a gentleman named Darren Dennis. Darren is 1 of the most personable, energetic, and genuine "sales" persons (no pressure; did not feel like a car dealership!!!) I have ever dealt with in the car buying business. There were a few times I had to wait but that's to be expected, and Darren never gave up on trying to give me freshly baked Otis Spunkmeyer cookies, coffee, and water! When it was time to talk numbers, Darren introduced me to William, who saw that I was reading and asked if I was in a 4 year college. I answered yes and provided the required proof. I tell you, yesterday was my lucky day!!! Not only did I get the FMCC (Ford Motor Credit) rebate, I received additional incentive for being a f/t, 4 yr college student. The latter paid for the balance owed on my old vehicle that USAA declared a total loss. These guys truly impressed me as did a gentleman named Kenneth Merritt, whom I had a very pleasant conversation with during one of my idle times. I was just so impressed (as you can probably tell from the length of this review!) and could not stop smiling throughout the whole transaction; from START to FINISH!!!! If you're in the market, don't even think about going out of town thinking you'll get a better deal/price; Lafayette Ford/Lincoln is THE PLACE TO BE!!! Keep up the fantastic work Darren, William and Kenneth; I love my new "family"!!! :-)

Provided by YPmobileI took my vehicle in on a Tuesday for what they called routine maintenance. My vehicle was supposed to be ready by day's end but I got no call. I called them at closing and was told I had to be there within 10 minutes. I picked up my vehicle after someone agreed to wait on me. Wednesday morning I drive to work but can't shift my vehicle to park, it won't go past neutral. Keep in mind that this issue never occurred before. Called the people who last had my vehicle and was told to bring my non-working vehicle in. After having my truck towed there, I questioned the attendants about changes around my gear shift. Their response was that all of there work was outside the vehicle. Hmm? I ended paying an additional $300 plus dollars for repairs that suddenly popped up and rendered my vehicle useless. After this experience, I wouldn't let these people change the batteries in a Barbie dream car or an RC racer. Terrible experience. Beware.

Provided by YP.comOn Friday I scheduled by telephone a safety recall for the driver's side (truck) airbag which had a history of detonating spontaneously when electrical wire would wear through and short. I was scheduled for 1PM Monday. When I got there, I was not in their system anywhere, was told that that had been happening a lot lately due to outsourcing of appointment scheduling, and that I was lucky that there was somebody available to work on my vehicle. Over two hours to disassemble steering column and was told that they were not able to drill out rivets for the free safety recall (rivets probably installed when air bag detonated on previous owner). This cost me $199.00 and I was told that it required $1700 from me for them to replace steering column since rivets could not be drilled out. I know that where a rivet gun fits, a drill bit should fit. So I had my son's truck towed to Tom Smith Ford of Lillington (about same driving distance) and in short time and for only $45.48 Tom Smith Ford mecahnics drilled out the rivets and then performed free safety and recall I was happily on the road again. The service reps. at both Lafayette Ford and Tom Smith Ford were very pleasant and I was treated with respect. The difference was that Lafayette Ford would have charged $1700 to replace the steering column when their mechanic(s) were "unable" to drill out rivets and Tom Smith Ford easily drilled them out and replaced them with bolts for $45.48--a $1654.52 difference!!
