Scudder & Hedrick, PLLC was founded by two Raleigh workers' compensation attorneys with over thirty combined years experience in the practice of law. Sam Scudder and John Hedrick were practicing with The Law Offices of Robin E. Hudson when Ms. Hudson was elected to the Court of Appeals and closed her practice. Sam, Judge Hudson's senior associate, and John, a former North Carolina Industrial Commission Deputy Commissioner, came together to form Scudder & Hedrick, PLLC. The firm has since expanded to include April Seguin, a 2006 graduate of Campbell University law school. While in law school, Ms. Seguin gained valuable litigation and appellate experience as a member of both the Trial Team and Moot Court Team. Jennifer Segnere, a 2009 graduate of UNC law school, joined the firm after being admitted to the N.C. State Bar. Ms. Segnere's fluency in Spanish and in English allow us to represent a broader population of clients. Our Board-Certified Attorneys: Mr. Scudder, Mr. Hedrick and Ms. Seguin are Board Certified Specialists in Workers' Compensation Law, which means that we are very knowledgeable in the specific field of representing injured workers.
