We didn't buy any shows just one children's gymnastic leotard. The staff was polite. The prices were a bit pricey. I would recommend this place to others.

My daughter has been dancing for years and this is the only place we will go to..They are always so helpful and very knowledgable about the products. We live out of town and dont mind making the drive for great help. I have even been in a pence before...not been able to make it up there and they had the items shipped to me. WhenI got the package I was very impressed with their hand written Thank You card on my box.GREAT SERVICE!

I recently took my two daughters to The Dancer for shoe fitting-the whole works. There were 2 sales women there and they were both helping customers and told me they would be with me shortly. I did have a bit of a wait but thyey helped me as soon as they were avaiable. The young lady that helped me was very educated in the shoe fittings and had not a problem fitting my daughters, 5 & 6 years old. She was very helpful while picking they're leotards out too. It was a bit pricey but better material then those I will find at Walmart or Target. Overall I ws highly impressed and will continue to shop there as well as send others.

I went there to purchase leotards for my daughter who recently started taking gymnastics classes. The only salesperson I could see in the store did not acknowledge me or my children or ask if we needed help finding anything, something I would expect in a specialty store. I found the rack of leotards for my daughter's size and there just wasn't enough selection or variety. There were only 4 or 5 leotards to choose from that weren't pink or beige. I can get pink or beige at Walmart or Target. I was looking for something different and the prices were a bit of a shock but that might not have been a problem if I had actually found something I liked. It just wasn't worth the drive and I will be purchasing my leotards at Walmart, Target, or online.

I went to The Dancer to look for leotards for my 5 year old daughter who recently started gymnastics. When I walked in, there was only one salesperson I could see. She didn't acknowledge me or my children or offer to help me with anything. This was my first time in the store but I found the rack of leotards for my daughter's size. It was a very small rack of leotards and half of them had skirts which won't work because she cannot wear skirts for her gymnastic classes. The others were either pink or beige and they had 4 or 5 others to choose from but they were all expensive and ugly. Especially the line by Shawn Johnson with peace signs all over it! The store is very small and there isn't enough selection to warrant going all the way over to Raeford Road to shop there. I will either be buying my leotards at walmart or target or shopping online instead of wasting my time at this store that obviously does not want my business or my money.
