Please don't do business with these crooks. I was going to rent a home and the day I was supposed to move in there was mold and mildew. My health was more important so I did not move my furniture in because of this and other conditions. I called and at first they said they would let me out of the lease. I was able to stop payment on the other 1/2 deposit and first months rent but they refuse to give me the other 1/2 month deposit and said I broke the lease. In my eyes renting a house with mold and mildew was not an option and now they won't give me my money back. I'm 67 year old senior citizen on social security. Don't do business with these crooks

I had a horrible experience. It took one month to repair my air conditioner when the temperature was 105F in Fayetteville, NC. My security deposit was not fully returned to me until I involved my lawyer. I was accused of removing/losing the drawers in the refrigerator. They were not there when I moved in and I signed documentation that they were missing when I initially moved in. I was also charged a fee to have a vaulted ceiling fan cleaned that was dusty when I moved in. The fan in the vaulted ceiling was impossible to reach without a construction height ladder. The average person living in an apartment does not have access to this type of ladder. I was also required to have the carpet cleaned professionally. This would have been fine if the carpet was in great condition when I moved in. I reported the carpet pulling away from the transitional pieces when I first moved in. This was a safety issue. Nothing was done about it the entire time that I lived in the apartment. There were large red stains and bleach stains on the carpet that I had to cover with furniture when I first moved in. The stains would not come out. When the professional carpet cleaner arrived, he said “this carpet is old and needs to be replaced. There is no need for me to clean it.” Weaver required me to clean it any way. I would not recommend this property management company.

Filling out the paperwork to initially rent a house was extremely inconvenient, due to the fact that my boyfriend was taking a course that lasted 12 hours a day during the rental office's business hours. Even though I had a power of attorney from him I was treated with suspicion and he had to get special permission to leave class and fill out all of their paperwork. While we were staying at the house, work orders were difficult because the company would call the owner for permission to conduct the repairs-if the owner did not respond to the call they would simply drop the work order without notifying us. The worst issue was move-out. The transportation company came to pick up all our possessions on a Wednesday--when we tried to schedule a move out inspection for the following day, the agent in charge of the property laughed and said she would be on vacation, so she could do it six days later. We had to wait a week in a motel to be allowed to move. They didn't care.

Weaver was responsible for renting out and taking care of our house. The house was completely trashed within a year, and the worst part was that no one from weaver even cared. They took 10 percent of the rent and did absolutely nothing. When the tenant left, we were informed that the property was in ok shape. However when a new tenant moved in, he called to inform us that the house was in terrible condition. After seeing the pics from the new tenant, I would have to agree. Stay away from this company. All they have to offer is excuses on why they can't do their job.
