groomed up to "please you"

i needed a basic trim-type haircut so went in to this barbershop near the courthouse square on a cold winter afternooon, my had my stocking cap on to keep warm so my hair was messed up when i went in. i waited about 10 min for the barber to finish him up, then got in his chair. this is a classic, old'fashioned type barbershop, and the barber is an older guy, he listened to how i wanted it trimmed and started barbering me up, trimming and combing my hair for the next 10 min or so. he got it about the right length, then used warm shaving cream around my ears and back of my neck, and shaved it with a regular razor - gave it the clean-cut look. he combed a little more, then used some kind of good smelling hair lotion on it to make it comb up decent and keep it neat looking, and keep a decent part to it. he then finished me up with a little more grooming, trimming eyebrows and earhair. the haircut looked real groomed and decent looking when finished and smelled really good for the next few days - was also girl-friend approved!, he spent about 18 min on the haircut and cost was a reasonable 10 bucks. shop is clean and conveniently located, and a popular barbershop to get a haircut at, when i was done, there were 3 more guys waiting. the haircut looked good and was easy to comb up until my next haircut was needed - he really does try to please you with the cut. i'll be going back and definitely would recommend this barbershop to you.
