Last June 2010, I had my driveway completely done, new front brick steps, brick pavers around walkway and brick wall for flower bed done. Everything looked great afterwards, despite the mess that the workers left behind each day. You had to be on them throughout the job, to make sure things were getting done appropriately and to keep them on task. Also, they worked on the hottest days of the year but brought no water or cool drinks with them. John Connors, who was in charge and initiated the contract, did not seem to care about the safety of his workers in the hot heat. My neighbor, who also had his driveway done, and I provided them with water and juice drinks plus some food items. They also borrowed equipment from my neighbor which he finally got back after much persistence. One of John's sons, can't remember his name, was a real lazy load. However, one bright spot was Tony. He did the brick work and boy did he work hard in the heat. With this past winter, some of the cement around the bricks has come out and have been unable to reach John Connor. All of the numbers (215-767-2487; 215-431-7201; 484-213-6200) indicate no one available or out of service. In another job Unique Paving did further up the street from me, they damage the owner's new siding and part of the new driveway sunk on one side. It was not leveled correctly. They finally did come back to repair after the owner found them working at another location in our neighborhood. Would not recommend Unique Paving, an apparent "fly by night" group.

This company is a bunch of crooks.. they saturate a neighborhood, low ball the price and vanish, hard sales tactics and false warranties. Consumer beware, I figured they were doing other properties so got caught off guard. I have a problem with the driveway work and repeatedly try to call them, the salesman Mike keeps answering phone and always says he is someone else, with such a heavily Irish accent, it's actually a bit comical, and when I call him out he says he will come by to check, never does.. Sent certified mail to address, came back undeliverable, think it is a ghost address just to have received their license, also sent complaint to the BBB, they had the same results.. Equipment is garbage, they were borrowing tools from my neighbor to fix it, left trash all over.. If you use them, don't pay them for 30 days or so until you are satisfied, because they will disappear and once you pay them, he runs to a check cashing agency in Darby to cash it that same day, definite sigh of hit and run business. The warranty is meaningless since they will not respond. Iwould put a no star rating, but had to select at least one

They totally messed up my driveway. I can not get a hold of them. I have to sue them to get it fixed. The whole thing needs to be ripped out and re-done. They ran out of asphalt and now I have a huge seam across the driveway. Today, I noticed a large depression where a secftion collapsed. It is a mess. They came and gave me an estimate. The next day, they came and wanted to start work. I explained taht I wanted to "check them out". Later that week, I called them to ask some questions. I left many messages on their phone answering machine, NOT a SECRETARY, and got no response. It has been about 6 weeks, and still they, Unique Paving, has NOT responded. Be advised that if you deal with them their work may be as "non-responsive" , and they may be as fleeting as the wind.

They rush and do subpar work! My driveways puddles in spots and the cement work they did had no spacers and they came back with a saw to cut them in. They do not return calls...I guess it wasn't as "neat and sweet" as they claim! Would never use again!

This company ripped off my parents. Their work is subpar and refuse to come back and fix the many mistakes they made on their driveway. They had the nerve refuse to acknowlege they even did the work ("it was a different "Unique Paving"). What a bunch of theives - which seems to fall in line with the other reviews about this amatuer scam artist...

Work is very poor quality. Did not live up to their contract. Cut corners. One side of the drive is raised and the other has a large dip. Destroyed my property and public property. Very dificult to deal with when there is a problem. They have refused to speak to me. It is now going to cost us alot of money to fix their mess. Have a gaurantee? Good luck with that! Please hire someone with a good reputation who does quality work, not these people. I gave them a one star rating because that is the lowest allowed, actually I would give them a NEGATIVE 5 stars.

Workers did not completely clean-up once the paving was done.

Company had to borrow customers tools, gas, and gas can to get their equipment started. Company never returned all the tools or 5 gal gas can nor paid for gas.

Company refused to respond to numerous calls.
