At least two young women were molested and at least one raped at this school. Need I go on????

Very blessed church

I pulled my daughter out of a terrible home daycare situation and placed her at Bethel Christian Center and have had great experiences for the past 3 years. Although there has been frequent staff turn-around I think this is essentially true for most daycares. The director has kept her position for the past few years and there is one other person who has been there for years and when I did have an issue with one of the staff members, she was promptly let go. No questions were asked. My daughter gets to and from school on time and they are conveniently open on days when I need them. The daycare is a little old, but it's clean, warm and my daughter does many arts and crafts projects and even takes field trips. And I laugh at one of the quips in one of the comments on here that all of the daycare workers are "fat". Um, okay, isn't the majority of Western Washington "fat"? Seems like it. I can't agree what these reviews say. This church will make you feel welcome and good. I don't know what made this people write these negative reviews. Maybe they didn't feel welcome. And I'm sorry but this church is a good church and there is no need for those kind of comments. I've been to this church for four years, and everything is fine. Come and you will see that god is in this church.

Really, don't bother. The church has some truly good people, but over all it just sucks. The church board is made up of all of the pastor's (Sue and Dennis Austin) relatives- which is technically wrong. . since the church patrons don't have a say in who's pastoring since the board makes the decisions.The daycare and school are. . just ugh. No one really does any work at LAPS, and the daycare workers are lazy (not to mention fat).Plus, they've covered up a scandal by paying newspapers and such not to publish it. . . sad coverup. Anyways- don't go!

Do not attend this church at all costs. The pastor’s wife is the most unchristian woman I have ever met. She has an elitist attitude and ridicules the members of the church that do not meet her standard of godliness. This church runs essentially like a dictatorship. Don’t let their website fool you. Their school and daycare is of the lowest standards. They are essentially backed by the people that live in the church property houses. These people are forced to attend the church three times a week or more or risk the threat of eviction. This churches cult like atmosphere is fueled by the fears of the very poor that live on the property. Sue Austin the pastor’s wife practically demands to be worshiped. I thought I was going to become part of an open arms Christian community but I found quite the contrary. Please don’t make the mistake I did and waste your time or money going here.
