I do NOT recommend you this ho...

I do NOT recommend you this hospital for maternity.
I had my doctor which has his private practice, I really recommend him. I was hesitating to keep him when I found out that he delivers at St Francis Hospital because I heard bad stories from my friends. One of them had two deliveries at this hospital. She told me that her first delivery she was sent home with 8 cm of dilatation, she told me that the delivery was not smooth. Her second delivery was the same she was being sent back home after her water broke, and that she stay there because she was feeling the baby was in her way, and that the baby was born with limited oxygen.
Still after listening her stories, I decided wrongly to delivery there because I liked my doctor.
It was a big mistake in my part. When I delivered my doctor was not in call because it was a Sunday, so I was in labor for 12 hrs +. There were several errors and mistakes during my delivery.
• The anesthesiologist put the epidural while I was in bed even that I asked to please put this in a chair as I read in several books. She still did it when I was in bed, and of course the pain killer was wrong applied and it was just affecting the right side of my body, then she came back and put more pain killers at the point that my baby’s heart and my heart was stopping. I was around 2 pm.
• At 7 pm the doctor in turn came and without asking me or asking my husband or telling me what he was doing he broke my water.
• At 9:30 pm a nurse come and applied epitosen after I asked her not to do that because it is not good for the baby and I read that 95% of the woman that have this medicine had to rush to C- delivery. The nurse did it any way.
• At 9:30 I asked the nursed to start calling the doctor because the baby was big and I wanted and episiotomy, they did not listening to me. Even though, they knew the baby was in the bigger side because my doctor had this in his notes, also that I asked for a episiotomy.
• At 10 I keep asking to call the dr because I was feeling that my baby was in its way. The nurse in charge she did not wanted to call the dr because she did not want to disturb the dr, since I was having my first baby (so she assumed that I did not know my body).
• At 10:30 I started pushing and I keep screaming bring the doctor the nurses helping me asked the nurse in charge to call the dr and she did not want to.
• My baby was born 25 minutes after pushing with the umbilical cord twice in his neck, and I had a rupture 3 (4 being deadly)
• The doctor arrived after that to saw. My baby thank God was okay. However he is not speaking yet, etc.
I complained and I got nothing no help not even I am sorry or apologies, the hospital charged the as it was a dr delivering my baby to my insurance.
I DO NOT recommend this hospital. Your life and your baby’s life should be taking seriously . Please DO NOT USE THIS HOSPITAL FOR YOUR OWN safety.

Never go to this hospital. I arrived by ambulance one evening after I fell and injured my leg. When I arrived there they said right off they were short staff and busy. This was said before evening asking or inquiring about my injury. Ambulance person tried telling her that I needed to be roomed right away and she stated that's not up to Him. Bruised, pain level 10+, possible broken leg, I was taken off stretcher put in wheelchair and set in lobby! After about an hour or so I was taken for xrays then put in room. After 2 1/2 hrs dr came in, said it wasn't broken. He suggested I go to my regular dr to have an MRI done.

He didn't check my leg, ask about my pain not even what happen but was ready to release me. I started to ask him questions, he said he would be right back and never came back. Nurse came back in with release papers about 45 mins later. I will never ever go back to this place again! This was beyond horrible service! I'm still looking at what my legal rights are......

Don't even bother going to this hospital go somewhere else. I have had good service and I have had bad service. I went into the emergency room on Christmas Eve with kidney stones and the ER doctor treated me like I was drug seeking and gave me a medication for pain that I had already told him I could not have and I had a reaction to the medication and he did not even care. I went in with a pain level of 9 and was sent home at a 9. I even showed him the 2 stones that I had passed that day and he told me I was lying because I did not have any blood in my urine. I went back on Christmas Day and I had the same thing happen again the ER doctor did nothing for me. I will never go back to that hospital again and I will dispute the bill when it comes and ask my insurance company to not pay a dime until I have had time to speak with the head of the ER Department.

Avoid this place! They treat you like crap!!! All they care about is getting your money, and could care less about your health or well-being. I am pretty sure they make lots of fatal mistakes, hopefully ours was nothing too serious. The place was disgusting, nothing looked clean and the bathroom was covered in urine and fecal matter...how is that for healthy? The nurses all seemed like they could care less about you or their job. The doctor did not explain anything to us, and could not even answer simple questions we had. Go to Valley or Seattle if you need serious help!

Horrible experience!

This hospital is highly unprofessional. First of all they're LOW on staff, they kept leaving my room to tend to other patients! Especially when ever new patients were being admitted that caused me to become HIGHLY IRRITATED because they hardly checked up on me. My mother had to go look for my nurse at one point because when I called from my bed no one answered. These nurses and doctors DO NOT CARE! Also the rooms are filthy, from the blankets to the walls to the bathrooms. I was so disturbed! If you are looking for a hospital to give birth (OB/GYN) DO NOT CHOOSE this hospital. I was "suppose" to get induced on April 23rd but instead of doing that they kept trying to persuade me to just wait until I naturally break my water and go into labor. My due date was just 4 days after the date I was set to be induced. I was so outraged by ALL this that I just left this changed hospitals! I highly DO NOT RECOMMEND this hospital to anyone not even my worse enemy!
