this company puts profit over people. after taking over madrona park apartments in tacoma in december 2017, they hiked up the rent by 60-100% on all of the tenants, with the rent increase going into effect in a single month's time. they have done little more than (attempt at) repainting the outside of the apartments. there have been no upgrades to the unit, the parking lot, or any other part of the tenants' apartments. most of their tenants have been long-time residents of this apartments and are now being forced to move! when a tenant called the office to request a lease extension of their current lease to get an extra month to look for new housing, they turned the tenant down and said they're not responsible for negotiating with the tenant regarding this. the agent on the phone denied that madrona parks apartments was even on their profile! this company is dishonest, money-centric, and does not care about their tenants.

I mad the mistake of hiring this company a few years ago to manage my 4 rental properties...what a mistake!They fell down on the job is so many ways. Among them- ridiculously high bids for minor repairs (that they would have paid with my money had I not intervened). Example: a bid saying the garage doors were dry rotted and must be replaced (well over $1000). I repaired the broken lock on the garage door myself for $15, the doors were in good condition. Another bid was hundreds of dollars to tear out a brick wall and replace a "leaking" pipe...a 50 cent washer took care of that problem. They failed to inspect the homes as they should, resulting in burns in the carpet and stench in my "non-smoking" house. They failed to notify me when tenant's had significant complaints. I have a much better property manager now and the difference is remarkable.
