I LOVE Zenco! Family owned business and very fair prices! Came out in the middle of the night to help me! THANKS ZENCO!

So a few months ago I had to have a new hot water tank installed through my home warranty company. The first place they were going to send out were a joke. So they sent Zenco. Great people to deal with and the owner was super nice. I had no issues with the installation or with the company. So today I am down in my basement changing the humidifier pad on my furnace and I smell gas. I turn around and find a fitting on the hot water tank leaking gas, not a ton of gas but enough that the sulfur smell was strong. I turned off the gas shutoff to the hot water tank and called Zenco to let them know that one of the fittings was loose from the gas line to my hot water tank that they installed. Not that they installed the gas line but the were the last ones to touch it while disconnecting the old hot water tank and installing the new one. So I called Holly at Zenco and to my surprise she told me there would be a $75 charge to send the guys over to fix it and that I had to call my home warranty company to have it resolved. Now I am normally a very calm person but....



a. You worked on this and for some reason didn't check for gas leaks before leaving my home

b. You put my family at risk of a fire

c. You now want more money from me to fix a job you were paid to do.



Shame on you for that. I have called someone else and will be sending the bill to you. There is no excuse to not want to help someone fix a gas leak on a piece of equipment that you installed.

Zenco is a great company...ran by a lovely young man. He is very nice, knowledgable and does great work. If you are looking to try out a new company I highly suggest you give Zenco a call. Oh, and there prices are very competitive and very fair! I was extremely pleased with this company! Can't say enough good things about them!
