Provided by YP.comGreat business! I will tell all my friends about Sirvac for their vacuum needs! The people who work there are very good at their jobs.

Provided by YP.comI have had nothing but positive experiences at this sewing machine repair shop!
Rhonda picked up and delivered my machine. When she brought the machine back to me she actually gave me a free sewing lesson!
Two weeks is a very average/typical timeframe in which someone waits to get their machine back .
This is a family business and I have dealt with the entire family – last time was the son, and have been treated professionally by all.

Provided by YPmobileScam artists!I don't even have enough time to write everything. Went there on two different occasions with warranty as advised by Hoover. Today I have a totally different, sub par, non working machine which the lady insists is mine! Shame on me for being so trusting and not securing my serial number, etc. Never, ever go here! The people are unprofessional, lazy, disorganized liars who are expert distractors!

Provided by YP.comI see a lot of reviews for the vacuums. I hear they are pretty good. We decided to bring in our Emerald Sewing machine on a Thursday. We didn't know what happened to our machine and since Joann's doesn't ship out the machines till Wednesday we opted this business. Within a week, they told us the motor was burned out. For the same cost, we went ahead with the repair. It took about 2 weeks for the part to come in and to replace it. So three weeks later, we finally have our machine back. It violently shook when in operation. It didn't do that before the motor replacement. Going back to Sir Vac, we found out, they did not re-tune and balance the machine and it was a separate cost! It was going to be an additional cost to diagnose the machine and another cost if something happened. We were fed up by this point. We just took it to Joann's to get all done. Apparently a piece was broken by the first repair and Sir Vac refused to fix it. Went through our credit card company to get a refund on the repair because breaking the machine, causing an additional problem they caused. Should have just sent it through Joann's and be without the machine for 2 weeks rather than an entire month.

Provided by YPmobileNever, never, never get your vacuum fixed here!!! Worse customer service and it took forever to fix and she made excuses all the time. They even gave me the wrong vacuum at first I had to go back up and they lost my brand new filter and they lost the filter cover she said she had to search for it at the factory and then denied the wrong conversation ever took place when I went back to get back my vacuum. Very unorganized and just a horrible experience all together.

Provided by YP.comStay away. The people there were very abrupt and acted like they were doing me a favor and without looking at the sweeper, the woman said, oh this won't be a warranty repair. At no time did she mention any charge for looking at the sweeper and estimating any cost if indeed, the problem was not covered under my 3 year warranty. The sweeper is less than a year old.and has only been used in a townhouse. First she told me it was filled with powder and they had to clean it all out. I told her I did not use any powder. Then she said...Oh...you used an arm and hammer bag in the sweeper. How in the world she determined that many sweeper was filled with powder is a mystery. Do they tell everyone this same fabrication? Apparently yes.l I spoke with a teacher I work with and she said I know that place and I would never go back. She remembered it because it looked like a creepy shack, the people were abusive, and they told her 10 years ago that her sweeper was filled with powder!!!!!
When the clerk called and told me it would cost apprx $80 to repair ( which is half as much as the sweeper initially cost from Khols) I felt that was excessive. I ordered parts from Hoover for less than $35 and assumed I would be able to pick up my sweeper without problem. I now have a message telling me Sir Vac wants to charge me approx. $40 for their estimate. This is absurd. If any cost were to be involved, this needs to be clearly stated. I was surprised that Hoover, a terrific company, would have an association with such an inferior business.
As a follow up when Hoover contacted Sir Vac, they now claim I put petroleum jelly on the ends of the rollers. This is apparently their 2nd line lie. It would never occur to me to do such a thing. Hoover now has a registered complaint to investigate against this awful business

Provided by YP.comOn Tuesday, 2/21/2012 I brought in my Singer XL6000 Embroidery/Sewing Machine in for repairs.
I was told that I would be provided with an estimate of the work needed to repair my machine. I was charged 39.95 + 2.40 tax, totaling $42.35. No work was to be performed without my approval. Upon approval the estimate charge would be deducted from the total charge to repair the machine.
The person at Sir Sew & Vac (female), said I would be contacted within a week. A week had passed & I did not hear from them, so I went back in to see them on Thursday, 3/1/2012. I was told that they had to order fuses because mine were blown. I stressed to them that I did not want any work done until I knew how much the cost would be. They assured me that they would not invest anything without my approval.
Again, a few weeks had passed & I went in to see them again on Thursday, 3/15/2012. At that time they informed me that they thought it was a Step Motor problem. They needed to call Singer to order parts. Again, I stressed not to do anything without getting me a price.
Again, I did not hear from them, so I went back in on Monday, 3/26/12. They said that Singer will not sell them the part,(Because they are not an authorized Singer Dealer) & that they would have to professionally pack my machine & ship it to Singer for the repair. I once again stressed not to send it to Singer until we had a confirmed price for the repair. They were going to call Singer & get back to me.
Again, I did not hear from them, so I went in a week later on Monday, 4/2/12 & the women said that Singer did not get back to her. At that point she got on the phone & rudely told Singer that she wanted to speak to someone that would provide better customer service. Sir Sew & Vac did not provide good customer service to me, since she not once called me. I had to constantly follow up.
At that point I told her, that I just wanted my machine back & I was going to take it elsewhere. She said I would have to come back the next day because her repair man needed to take the fuses that they spent money on out of my machine.
I went back the next day on Tuesday, 4/3/12 and got my machine & requested that my original charge for an estimate be refunded back to me. She told me that she would not refund it, because she gave me an estimate. The only thing I received from her was another receipt stating "Estimate 39.95, needs motor, Factory said Poss Circuit Board"
I informed her that this was not an estimate. It did not have any price for parts & labor which is what an estimate is. We argued about what an estimate should entail, and then she grabbed the receipt back from me and added "Poss 500.00 to repair". This is still not an estimate.
This shop acted unprofessionally, wasted over 7 weeks of my time, took $42.35 from me & I still have no idea what is wrong with my machine or how much it would cost to fix it.
My decision to have the machine fixed or not fixed was going to be based on the cost of the estimate. I wanted to make sure that machine was worth fixing .
