If I could give Zero stars I would. I think people should know that this kennel puts out all the dogs (big, medium and small per staff report) at the same time. I had a 9 pound dog that was bitten and killed this morning by another dog at this kennel. The only reason I ever use a kennel is so that my dog will be safe while I'm gone, I don't expect a luxury vacation for my dog, I just want him safe when I come back. I'm disappointed that this kennel was unable to provide a safe environment and very sad to have lost my companion. I would certainly recommend that owners of small dogs NOT use this kennel.

As a former customer of Hot Paws and an owner of an adopted dog from the Nassau County Humane Society, I have to say how proud I am now to be an employee of Hot Paws were they truly love and appreciate each and every animal that comes thru their doors. Their participation in the community should be commended. Thank you Hot Paws from myself and my daughter, Mariah and our wonderful pet PRINCE CHANNING!
