Everything about the Star is authentic Indian. The excellent service, the fantastic food and the welcome you get when you are a repeat customer. Been eating here for 20+ years (since the old Rochester Rd days) and I know Indian food. I am an English transplant and this resteraunt would grace any English City.
The Chicken Tilka Massalla is to die for and the shrimp Bhunna is great. Give it a whirl, you will love it

If you're a Brit and you haven't eaten here you are missing out. Chicken Tikka Massala is off the hook, tandoori chick is great, Bombay potatoes that will blow your sox off and the peshwari naan bread is to die for. I've been eating here for 20 years, started when they were on Rochester Rd and I won't go anywhere else.
