Update: 4-2-19
After almost a year of tinkering and investing my car is finally fixed thanks to no help from Honda of Fife. But since management requested I update them when I discovered the issue I figured it best to update my review.
The Rotars and the Wheel Bearings on my two front wheels were completely shot.
Both contributed to the awful noise that accompanied my car wherever it went. The driver side wheel bearing also rattled and moved in an alarming way. Something that was immediately noticeable once my wheel was taken apart. So the argument made by the service department at the dealership and management that their level of services, integrity and ethics on customer care are top notch. What I saw with my own eyes removed from my car is solid proof that the only thing this company cares about is money and is the reason that I will not only never return but never recommend. The negligence was astoundingly disappointing and cost me time and money that should've been avoidable provided they did what they were supposed to do.

Take a mechanic with you if you do chance this lot. Their service team is underqualified and their management team of no help.

Good Luck in your vehicle hunts! I hope you have better luck than I did.

(The wheel bearings pulled off my car below)

Buying a car off a lot can be a frustrating and exhausting experience. Although I love my car and will probably never get rid of it, I have to say, I'm completely reconsidering ever buying a car off a lot again.

Everytime I've bought a car off Honda of Fife's lot, my brakes always end up squealing after a couple weeks.
My first car I took it back and was refused service so I got it fixed elsewhere.
The second time it happened with my new car and i took it back to the dealership and they put new brakes on. But it didn't fix the problem. I called them to tell them the problem still isn't fixed and they told me they have a budget to consider. I tried to leave a formal complaint regarding the issue and was met with an argumentative manager in services who just plain passed the buck and failed to grasp that they were failing me as their customer. His only objective was to pacify me into silence, not resolve the issue.
He said he'd speak to the manager to see about what else could be done but by this point my faith in this dealership had completely died.
I decided to walk away and fix the issue myself... again.
Today I took my car in for an oil change and was told that a filter was missing from my car entirely. It was later found damaged and stuffed into an area it didn't belong in my car. I, of course, had it replaced.

It is appalling and atrocious that dealerships are allowed to charge top dollar for these cars and provide craigslist service on both the vehicle and torwards the customer. I am so disgusted that they're getting away with this after I dropped 20k on this car. It feels horribly unfair and just goes to show you how little you really matter as a customer once the bill is paid and an issue arises they don't want to deal with past putting a bandaid on it.

I don't think I'll ever buy off a lot ever again because of how I was treated here. No customer should feel how I feel right now.
You should be ashamed of yourselves.

Bait and Switch. Horrible service!!

My wife and I came to look at a minivan they has for sale. We negotiated a price where they would come up on my trade in and come down on their price a little. I signed the offer sheet when we finished the negotiation and Dexter the sales person took the offer that we agree on to his sales manager. We didn't want to have our credit ran until we came to an agreement. My wife and I thought we had because we ended up sitting around for 3 hours wanting on what we were told was our credit union. It was taking so long that we decided to leave and they told us they would call us once they heard back. They never did. We had to track them down. They sent over to our credit union terms for the purchase of the vehicle that we never agreed to. Our lady at our credit union to us that the sales manager submitted his own deal for us to our credit union. I caught our sales person and the sales manager in lies. We wasted 3 hours sitting there not waiting on our credit union. We were waiting for the sales manager to structure his own deal and send whatever he wanted over to our credit union without us knowing. They were trying to do a bait and switch. I told our credit union that was not the deal the dealership told us they had submitted. Long story short. Honda of fife will never get our business again and anyone thinking of using them should think twice. They tried to go behind our backs and get us approved so that we would think we got the deal we signed for. I hope they go out of business or that someone sues them.

Rick the service manager always makes sure that I'm taken care of and that's all that you could ever ask for. There was a problem with what was quoted and what the price actually was. It was a miscommunication but and we really couldn't come to an agreement as to who was wrong. Rick made it right and I will always come here. This incident was the first I ever had here and they handled it so well that it has made me a customer for life. Thanks again.

Be Careful

In February 2009 when we sat down with the sales person at Honda of Fife and were ready to put in an initial offer. He told us he needed some information from us before he could present our first offer to his sales manager. The form does not state it is credit application but it does ask all of pertinent questions. We told the salesman that we are cash buyers but he said he would still need it. My husband and I made the mistake and trusted him, and gave him our info. We settled on an offer price and what we would get for our trade, and signed the deal. I was going to have to come in alone the next day, with our trade, a check for the difference, and to pick up the new car. We did not even see our new car before we left, we test-drove a car on the lot but they didn't have the color we wanted, they had to get it from another dealership. We were told since my husband would not be there to close the deal with me the next day with finance dept that he would need to sign a contract, we were told it would be torn up when I came back with the trade in and to pick up the new car, very stupid on our part but we made the mistake of trusting them again. Well the next day, my husband flew out of town and I felt very nervous about doing the deal without him and wanted to wait until his return. I called the dealer and told them that, I was threatened that if I didn't come in they were going to send my contract to the bank anyway, the car was mine, my payment book will be coming in the mail, but would not tell me from where, and if they have to they will come park the car in front of my house because it was mine.

I spoke to the WA State Attorney Generals office and found out that even though we did not have possession of the car, in our state a contract is binding and you can not back out. They did send our contract to a finance company. My husband picked up the car when he returned home, we did not give them our trade in. They did give us back the registration for the car we were going to trade in, we did not even noticed they kept when we left the dealership originally. I have since received correspondence from three finance companies concerning my application for credit that I did not even know I was applying for.

Don't do business here

I made a mistake in doing business with these people. Never again!!!!

I went to get my oil changed, and came out with a new car. Talk about getting suckered in. I didn't find out until I got home when I realized that I got jerked around. They didn't give me fair value on my trade-in. Not even close. I gave them continued business with my auto services, and this is how they treat their loyal customers?! Now all I can do is to tell people not to get tricked also.

I would never do business with Honda of Fife ever again and I hope you won't either.

bought my car there

I bought a used car (2005 accord) there and have received great service ever since. If I have questions, they always find out the answer if they don't know. Gotta love the free car washes when you bring your vehicle in for service, too!

Great Customer Service

I bought my Honda Accord at another dealership. Honda of Fife happens to be less than 5 miles from my office, so I decided to "try" their service. I had a headlight go out so I drove to their store. The service writer greeted me and told me to buy a bulb and they would install. They didn't charge me to install the bulb! I have since had my oil changed and the other headlight replaced. I am going to soon be in need of a 60,000 service and I will be calling them for that service.
