Provided by YP.comCut corners everywhere. Windows leaked water heavily with extensive air infiltration due to improper installation. Rotted window framework (check for damp spots under stone work) and they did not seem to care. My bedrooms were 50 degrees in the winter and 85 in the summer with insulated blinds due to the poor insulation, poor hvac system with duct work that popped like crazy, and poor windows. Over 300 screws popping out of drywall, leaking showerheads, furnace faulty pressure switch replaced multiple times, bowing drywall at multiple places, heavily spalling low quality concrete driveway (was even sealed), garage door that would not open in cold temperatures, and the entire house was tilting/sinking to the middle due to improper soil compaction for foundation. Foundation pillars had to be jacked up due to heavy sinking, and house floors were still not level and tilting towards the middle. Marbles would roll down the hallway and bathrooms by themselves it was so extreme. Entire house was out of square, including most doors and trim work. Also, heavy extensive settling in yard. Some settling is typical, however our experience was extreme. Rushed to get house completed, and it showed in all corners. House might seem nice inside, however beware of what you are actually getting. That cheap hollow block foundation, IKO shingles, low quality grade concrete, 2x4 exterior walls, no housewrap on gable ends, and Simonton single-hung windows are bottom of the barrel builders grade "cheap" materials. These houses are not built to last. They barely pass building code. Not something you can truly call "home".
