Horrible, rinky dink towing business. Has a contract with the State of MD, all LEO's, to tow vehicles after an accident. This incident began on Jan. 4, 2014. This business is one of the worst I've ever had the 'pleasure' of dealing with in my entire 60 years. A rinky dink operation that won't take a check card, debit card, credit card or check. Cash only. No change, either. It must be in the exact amount. It doesn't even have an office. Everything took place on a parking lot. There isn't even signage to indicate where they are located. They were rude, condescending, belittling, unreasonable and uncooperative. Quote: 'Well, lady, I wasn't the one driving the car.' Duh, no kidding. That's why accidents are called accidents. I would never allow them to touch one of my vehicles again, much less tow one. If you could see the break down of the tow bill and storage, you would be shocked. Had I been present at the accident scene, they NEVER would have gotten a hold of the vehicle. The accident happened on a Saturday afternoon (1/4/14). The car was towed out by another company and to a place of MY preference Monday morning, 1/6/14. Charged THREE days storage. Had to make an appt. on Mon. morning (closed on Sat & Sun)to get belongings, house keys, and work truck key! Could not get an appointment (yeah, you need one) until 12:15 p.m., though they were called at 9 a.m., 1/6/14 when they were open. Their hours are a 'convenient' 9-4, M-F. Nevertheless, I had to pay $730 CASH to get the vehicle, though my preferred tow company showed up (with me) around 11 a.m. Had I left it there, there would have been continued storage charges. I had the vehicle dropped off at a place that has NO storage charges at all. My AAA approved tow company had to wait quite a while so that another vehicle could be moved out of the way. They took their good ole time doing it, too. I've been told by TWO professionals that this 'company' has had complaints from all of the big insurance companies, yet nothing has been done. They have NOT heard the last of me. I am going public. The place has a State of MD contract with the local cops! Game on. Who elected the snaggle toothed with yellow stained teeth jerk I had the misfortune to have to deal with to be judge and jury???? Has he NEVER made a mistake??? The vehicle is TOTALED...I knew that! Know this. NEVER, EVER tick off a biker beeatch, senior citizen or WOMAN. Hope he enjoyed the burn out I did after he condescendingly told me to 'not hit anything on my way out'. I didn't, but for the asphalt. It was worth losing 100 miles of rubber off of my tires. NO ONE HAS THE RIGHT TO TREAT PEOPLE THIS WAY, MUCH LESS RIP THEM OFF AFTER SUCH A HORRIBLE INCIDENT. Word of mouth in Carroll is very effective, also. That word has already gotten out and spreading rapidly, trust me.
