Dr. Olsson is passionate about providing a high standard of care for her patients and their restoring dentist. Here's how she prepares herself to do just that. Dr. Olsson graduated from the Univ of Pennsylvania's school of dentistry in 2005 and practiced general dentistry for 10 years before specializing in Endodontics. She was a recipient of the Army’s scholarship program and completed her 4-year contract in Germany and Baghdad. She completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program and later earned a fellow designation with the Academy of General Dentistry. She remains an active member of the organization. Dr. Olsson met her husband during her Army adventures. They both take pride in bringing access to care to our military families. She received her certificate in Endodontics and Master of Science in Dentistry at the University of Washington and enjoys giving back to her mentors by retaining an affiliate faculty position with them where she helps dental students during their first clinical endodontic encounters. Dr. Olsson enjoys camaraderie with other dentists and loves working as a team. She maintains an affiliation with the Silverdale Dental Center, where she has the opportunity to treatment plan and care for patients as a team (with 5 other restoring dentists, a pediatric dentist and a periodontist). Dr. Olsson brings that teamwork approach to the Tacoma area, working with the restoring dentists in the area to maintain continuity of care for patient's in need of endodontic services outside of their home dental office. Dr. Olsson loves to learn new things and stay abreast of current research, techniques and treatment planning trends. She regularly attends continuing education events, dental association meetings, and enjoys group study clubs. Her research has been published and her current project is portfolio submission for the American Board of Endodontics. Outside of dentistry, she likes playing with her family in the PNW.
