The Fishers Fire Station 91 houses rescue trucks, aerial trucks and tankers. The Fishers Fire Department operates various other fire stations that provide emergency fire and medical services. Established in 1955, it employs more than 120 career firefighters and several civilian employees who serve an area of over 45 square miles and approximately 75,000 residents. The department operates administration, fire prevention, and public education and information divisions. The Fishers Fire Department s safety division coordinates training activities for fire, rescue and hazardous materials. The division is also responsible for injury reporting and risk reduction for the department. Its fleet of equipment includes engines, ladder and rescue trucks, ambulances, tankers and rescue boats, as well as has special rescue units. It is located in Fishers, Ind.
