The vast majority of windshield damage, in the form of chips and cracks, are almost always repairable (when caught early enough). This is our niche, and we pride ourselves as a premier resource for greater Indianapolis. There are many misconceptions about windshield repair. Just like anything, the facts can get skewed. The bottom line is, a repaired windshield returns safety to your passengers, is safer for the environment, is “safer” for your insurance premium, and is often safer than the risk of a new windshield installation! This is why we’re called “SafeGlass”. It’s also “safer” to let us do your repair, but let us prove that ourselves! Windshield replacements are certainly needed at times, and we have trusted partners that are carefully vetted. This is also an area you don’t want to trust just any shop with, but beyond this, we strongly advise to first confirm the damage is not repairable. A new windshield, no matter the quality of installation, will never be as good as the factory original, and your insurance premiums are affected less with repairs.
