In a time where compassion is often only found in a dictionary, Dr. Shannon is a true treasure. She is a doctor for all the RIGHT reasons, and I am a patient for life. She helped me when my situation felt hopeless, never making light of my pain or my needs. I have not had that experience since my old family doctor, Dr. Kaplan, retired about 20 years ago!
