Oakwood High School serves more than 285 students in grades 9 through 12. The school provides a variety of enrichment classes and tutoring sessions. It offers educational classes in language arts, math, science, social studies, technology, music, and health and physical education. Oakwood High School also operates a foreign languages department. The school has a gymnasium, cafeteria, multipurpose room, library and media center, career center and music complex. Its sports activities include baseball, volleyball, basketball, cross-country, football and soccer. Oakwood High School s library provides access to resources for students and staff in curriculum areas, as well as offers a variety of print and electronic sources to assist in the learning process. Located in Fithian, Ill., the school is governed by Oakwood CUSD 76.
