Hi BZ We did not actually hire Mike Furr Construction for this studio, but I just wanted to say….They built one of the most high end recording studios in Flagstaff Az. I was there watching my hub practice, and playing. The studio really was impressive. I was told Mike designed the studio sound construction, and all the details were mostly his doing. Professional audio people from the valley assisted with design suggestions for the best of recording and this is how sound (should sound!!!) The floating sound rooms, sound doors, control room, isolation rooms are perfect for recording. I can’t say where this is because it is a private studio. I would call Mike if you were interested in hiring a knowledgeable professional in the construction world of Flagstaff. I understand this was there second recording studio they built. There is even a second floor in this building that overlooks the main floor where the music is created. It’s too bad this is not a public studio. It rivals what NAU has for recording. Anyway I just wanted to offer my high-5 to this contractor and his talented crew. I understand one of his carpenters is also a musician. Give Mr. Furr and his team a try, the owner loves the studio and she has high regards for Mike Furr’s design prowess, and how easy they were to work with. I don’t think there is a category for recording studios, but there should be. I was searching for Home Theaters when I came across Mike’s page. So I just had to five him my (5) stars. I wish to remain somewhat anonymous, because the owner of the studio is very private as well. Cheers Mary

Mike's staff took care of a critical element involving a very tricky and complicated renovation. His final price was actually less than the quoted price. He indicated he was able to obtain a better discount and wanted to pass it on. I wish more companies were as honest and sincere at Mike Furr Construction. I would recommend them for any and all projects, large and small. Oh, and the office staff "Nicol" was the best!Billy Lloyd

There is something amazing about Mike and his crew. They are all so friendly and professional. The price for our new home was in line with other estimates, I had received and the work was perfect. The attention to detail was above all others. I had looked at other contractor's work before choosing Mike and his company to build our home. Absolutely no regrets and my husband and I have nothing but the highest praise for his company. I knew Mike Furr Construction had been in business for 30 some years, and now I know why. I would recommend them to anyone and I know their dedication to customer service is without question. Sara
