Called for information and had a good exchange with their people.

I tried these guys and got jerked around. They just seemed to hide in the shadows each time the subject of 'how much will that work cost me' came up. They'd always say... 'well, gosh... gee, if lightning hits it while we're doing this easy work... it might cost more... tough to say." It was like pulling teeth to get any kind of ballpark figure from them. I began to wonder if they were new to working on boats.



Anyway, besides that, I got like 5 calls where Johnny (the sales manager) would tell me one thing, and then Kathy (management) would call and tell me Johnny was wrong and some other thing regarding their 'standard' policy. It was like they were making it up as they went along.



I found them 'trying hard', but very confusing to work with. They also seemed like they sure didn't like anyone asking questions. The harder I tried to get a straight answer, the harsher they seemed to get. It was a strange experience. I think they truly want a customer to just drop the boat off and just be ready to pay when you pick it up. OK, fine... I understand. But, I should be able to get a feel for what'll cost. Right?



Overall, a shady business, to say the least.
