I’ve been a patient with DR. SCALES for over 15 years and I’ve received the best dental care possible. All the staff is friendly and professional. If you follow his advice and listen to your dental hygienists you’ll have great check ups too just like I do.

I don't enjoy going to the dentist, but I found the staff at Island Dentistry to be very helpful and professional. Dr. Prokopski was especially careful to explain everything I was going to have done in my future visits. I appreciated the time he took to explain things. Excellent all around service.

As always, since 2002, you helped to maintain and preserve my teeth.

I would not recommend this office. Two years ago this office replaced a crown for me. It was never correct. I went back to them over and over again. They adjust it 5 or more times. They never offered to replace the crown. They recommended a bite guard which I have never needed and I understand this is what some dentist do if their work in not correct. So I went to another dentist. The crown was never right and it broke within two years. I contacted this office and they would not warranty their work since they recommended the bite guard! My new dentist replaced the crown which my insurance company would not cover since it had been less than 5 years. So I had to pay the entire price a of new crown. I have never had any problems with my teeth and my crown now is correct and I have not had any problems.

Does your dentist take after the work is done x-rays to verify that everything is perfect? This dentist does and more. I came to this practice after several years of dentistry by a chain operator and just in time. When I first was checked here (cleaning and x-rays ) what was uncovered was a bunch of cavities and issues under and around crowns along with advanced gum issues.

Today was the last of currently required maintenance. Dr Scales and his assistants worked non-stop for almost four hours to finish what they had planned for today and then some.

Am I happy with this Dentist and the services they deliver? YOU BET! I am over 70 years young as I prefer to state it and this is absolutely the Best Dentist and Practice I have ever experienced.
