I called Flemington Electronics right before New Years to inquire about having a Tandberg receiver serviced for static in the switches. I was told to bring in my receiver for a free evaluation. I arrived at the store about thirty minutes later and was met by the store employee who had taken my call earlier. I explained to this guy that all my unit needed was to have the switches and pots cleaned. When I asked about their free evaluation, I was told that the "technician" was not in that day even though within the hour I was told to bring my amp in for service. Employee then asked for my credit card for security, but actually charged my card $53 immediately. I was then informed that the repair would take at least two to three weeks...I felt like I was being swindled right away! I left the store and went home but could not shake the thought that I was being scammed. I returned 24 hours later to cancel the service order but was told that the "tech" had already looked over my unit and determined that all it needed was a cleaning. So, long story short, I was going to have to pay the $53 since my unit was looked over. I told the employee I just wanted my unit back. He went into the repair room and I followed him. There sat my amp, untouched. I found it hard to believe that anyone had looked at my unit that quickly considering the 3 week turnaround. Somehow, the employee convinced me to let them finish the work they had started. So I did. What a fool. I called the next day, New Years Eve and spoke with Steve, who was with a customer, who knew nothing about my amp but assured me that it may need parts! I told him that this all sounded fishy. One week later I call and there is no answer. Next thing I know, I get a call from a "Restricted" caller...id is blocked. It was the owner, Steve returning my call. I asked what the store hours were and told him I would stop in the next day. He called me back twice from the restricted number. He wanted to know who I was and what I wanted! Then he proceeded to inform me that he had in fact, worked on my unit before New Years Eve, even though on New Years Eve he has told me he was NOT familiar with my situation or my receiver. What A BULLSHIT ARTIST THIS GUY IS! I told Steve I would be picking up my receiver as soon as his store opens tomorrow morning. AVOID THIS PLACE like a plague.

I called Flemington Electronics because our older Mitsubishi HDTV had a picture problem and that they specialized in Mitsubishi service and parts. I was told about the diagnostic fee over the phone before I made the service appointment. Steve came out and diagnosed the problem very quickly. The part was ordered and replaced in 9 days. Steve even came over on a late Friday evening to make sure that we had a good picture in time for the Super Bowl! I highly recomend them and will use them again in the future.

Back in October 2013, I reached my limit with cable t.v. and the overpriced, ridiculous programming. How many channels did we need? I knew that antenna t.v. was free, abundant and clearer than any HDTV cable offered. I was already using the internet for Netflix and had heard about Roku as a means to watch internet t.v. (www.roku.com). I called Steve at Flemington Electronics and he came out, installed a rotating aerial on our roof and connected us to the free airwaves! We have never been happier with the choice of programming and the cost (ultimately $0 once the antenna was installed) We still have a cable modem for Roku but it is vastly less expensive and any monthly fees for Netflix and Amazon Prime are peanuts compared to cable billing. We get to watch entire series - one episode after the other - commercial free. We probably watch more t.v. now than we used to (probably not a good thing!). But it's our choice of what we want, when we want without all that extra fluff and cost. Steve is knowledgeable and did a fine job. We couldn't be happier - with the installation and the t.v. service we're now getting. There aren't many people who know how to do what Steve does these days. Aerials are dinosaurs, or are they? I highly recommend cutting the cord!!!

I have been dealing with Flemington Electronics and would not trust anybody else with my TV and Computers. They know home theaters and computers and it is your one stop for everything. My Home Theater system is unbelievable and they explained everything to me perfectly.Thanks.

My review is on Customer Service, the lack there of and the very poor communication skills exhibited by F.E. I read the reviews and thought this would be a good place to take 3 amps and a mixer that needed repairs. Through email and phone calls I spoke to the technicians and they said they were experienced in these types of electronic repairs and they would be happy to evaluate the repairs needed. They did not, however, tell me they did not have the instruments to test the equipment, I only learned that AFTER I arrived at the shop. I was then told I couldn't leave my amps to be evaluated because they had no room in the shop. So, I took time off work, drove an hour round trip to Flemington, and needless to say my amps came home with me. I cannot rate their work, but I can say they are very poor at customer service and communication. Make sure you ask all the right questions BEFORE you make the wasted trip.

I found Flemington Electronics when I was looking for a company to help us design our home theater and entertainment system. With some very specific goals in mind, including multiple displays sharing video sources, Steve and the team at Flemington Electronics were able to take our ideas and bring them to life. Our system is easy to use, with single button remote programming that makes everything simple and enjoyable. I canât recommend them highly enoughâ¦they listened to our ideas and helped us achieve them quickly and easily.

FLEMINGTON ELECTRONICS HAS HELPED ME OVER THE YEARS IN BOTH AUDIO/VIDEO PROBLEMS,SETUP, AND UPGRADES. THE BEST IN HOME ENTERTAINMENT AND ACCOMODATES MY BUDGET EVERY TIME. THEIR EXPERTISE IS THE BEST AND PROMPT SERVICE GOES BEYOND MY EXPECTATIONS. I WILL BE USING THEM ON A CONSTANT BASIS FOR ALL MY COMPUTER, AND HOME THEATER NEEDS. THANKS GUYS.

It was Monday and I was considering repairing our main TV. Called this company as I had computers fixed effectively in the past. So I had service performed on my television in my home. The serviceman called ahead as discussed and arrived in the day and window of time scheduled. After diagnosis, my TV needed parts that were not on the truck, so I decided I could wait based on the price of $400 to fix my 52" LCD TV which would be at least 3 times the quoted repair price. Then we scheduled about ten days out based on shipping a part in. We had gotten a call on Friday regarding the parts arrival and anticipating the return visit, I happened to have had work at home that day I asked if they could come that day.Well needless to say I was very happy as the job was competed by the end of the week.

I brought a receiver in for repair. Their original two week estimate turned into 3 months. They initially claimed to be very familiar with my particular unit, and said they had seen this same problem before. This story changed drastically after I had made payment, and experienced repeated failures. I had to bring the unit back twice after the initial repair attempt, with the same recurring problem. They actually had the nerve to charge for additional parts the third time around, even though their first two attempts had failed, and the unit was still under their so called "service warranty". I finally got my unit back with additional damage that it did not have when I brought it in. Of course, they denied causing the damage, and tried to suggest that I was responsible for it in some way. Requests for a refund were flatly refused. Over $200 down the drain, and my unit still does not work properly. There are other competent and reputable shops in the area - I suggest using one of them.

I have been a customer of Flemington Electronics for over 10 years now for my home and business. They have serviced hundreds of customers with rave reviews, including myself. This is why i continue to use them. If a couple of people are not satisfied then they should not make the comments they are making. I will continue to use Flemington Electronics.I hope all the others do also.

2 months, more aggravation and runaround than I can explain, and no repaired TV. I finally tried to take it elsewhere only to discover they took out a part so I cant even do that. I have spent another month trying to simply get the broken part back and still nothing. The double talk, miss-representations, miss-communications, miss-treatment, confusion tactics, delays, excessive costs, and flat out lies have been exhausting and are intolerable. If this were my company I would be embarrassed and ashamed of myself. When they respond to this review they will use some variation of the same excuses they have given us for 3 months - and the positive reviews read like a commercial that the owner wrote and posted himself. Don't fall for it. Whatever you do, do not use this company.

2-3 weeks turned into 8 weeks, $50 dollars down the drain. Never received a status call and Steve the manager refused to return my call. Every call I made ‘oh, another few days or a week”. Total waste of time and money!

I recently had an issue with a brand new plasma produced by LG. Flemington Electronics is an authorized LG repair center. After meeting with Bill at their shop (appointment made). Steve arrived ontime to review the issue. After a lenghtly conversation he convinced me to let him repair this unit at his shop and he would "guarantee" that he would return it in 3 to 5 days. Less then 24 HOURS later I received a call that the unit was repaired and he would either deliver it (35 miles away) at no charge or I can pick it up to take home today. Steve is a professional and one of the very few small business people that still build their reputation on integrity & service. For that I say a big THANK YOU to Steve & Bill.

We used Steve and Bill to install our surround sound system, speakers and components. Steve is very knowledgeable when it comes to Electronics and we are very happy with the personalized service. I would highly recommend Flemington Electronics for your electronic needs.
