Tricia Oconer, D.D.S. received her dental degree from the University of Maryland, School of Dentistry, which is the worlds first dental college and was also the first in the world to offer a science-based curriculum in dentistry. While at the University of Maryland, Dr. Oconer was trained to provide the highest caliber of quality care to her patients. She graduated as a member of the Gorgas Odontology Honor Society.After graduating from the University of Maryland, Dr. Oconer continued her post-graduate training and was accepted to the Baltimore VA Medical Center residency program where she was trained to practice all facets of general dentistry within a hospital environment. This provided the opportunity for Dr. Oconer to advance her dental education and clinical experience to a level beyond that accomplished in pre-doctoral training.Dr. Oconer completed her residency training and returned home to Central New Jersey where she has been practicing dentistry in her community since 1999. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry and has a special interest in cosmetic dentistry and improving smiles. She is passionate about patient care and strives to create a comfortable and pleasant patient experience. She also enjoys teaching children proper dental health by giving dental talks at her sons school.
