I think the Dr is well intentioned but I cant help but to agree that you feel raped and robbed by their constant fee's. I had a couple of incidents where I was charged for things that I was told were covered by insurance and than turn out not to be covered. Although they told me they were covered in order for me to sign off on procedure than charged my credit card. when I called and questioned they told me that that procedure was only covered for a certain time period. When I mentioned that they made no mention of this at the time of service, to the secretary, she said she did tell me that. I know she didn't because I would not have had the procedure if I did not have the money to cover it. This also happened to me a couple of times. I just could not ever get out from under their constant bills. I also felt that when they made a mistake, I was charged again and again to make the repair. Secretary/receptionist was always friendly up until I had tough time paying bill. She than became cold and very short with me. Made me feel uncomfortable when I went into office.

I had a GREAT experience at Sophisticated Smiles! From the minute I got out of the car, the music playing outside started to relax me even before I was in the office. Kathy took care of me the moment I stepped into the office. Angela, the doctor's assistant and Dr. Mark were able to help me through my broken tooth issue. I didnt feel anything while my tooth was being fixed. The following day the office called to check on me and see how I was feeling! Now that's AWESOME!!! Thank you Dr. Mark for taking such great care of me during my visit.

After reading these other reviews, I had to post. Unprofessional and more importantly, HORRIBLE dental work. I had something redone (which probably didnt need to be redone), had problems with the work he did immediately after, & had to go BACK 3 times. He messed up my tooth and then I had to pay 3 times for him to try and fix it. Even worse, the receptionist, who is in everyones business. I overheard her telling one patient, ANOTHER patients medical history and dental problems...they are lucky they haven't been SUED yet. I know people who have been screwed out of money as well, over billed, and even worse, the receptionist will just charge your credit card w/out getting permission from you. Don't trust them wit your money, DEFINITELY not with your teeth, or the snotty receptionist who is 'Gossip Queen' of the year. And by the way, what kind of dentist gives you COOKIES after you get your teeth cleaned??? That says it all right there. Sophisticated my a**.

Don't ever waste your time with these people. Every one of them is a scam artist including the receptionist. They will lie in every attempt to get as much money from you and your insurance company as possible. Upon your first visit you are treated like a celebrity but after that it all goes down hill. They are currently holding all my files because I refuse to pay the $40 bill they sent me after I told them to only perform services that are covered under my insurance policy. I was told by everyone that works there including the owner that everything was covered. BTW this is the second time this has happened to me as well as several other people I know as well

Don't go here. I ended up with a very bad infection and the receptionist is the worst unprofessional person I have ever dealt with. MY ADVISE IS TO FIND ANOTHER DENTIST, WHICH I DID.
