Founded 1978, the Ennis Center for Children is a nonprofit, licensed child placement agency that provides foster care, adoption and support services for children and families. It serves abused, neglected, abandoned, and medically and emotionally underprivileged children from poor, minority and at-risk backgrounds. The agency provides a range of support programs related to mental health, delinquency, reintegration and post-adoption. The Ennis Center for Children offers recruitment, orientation, training, placement, supervision and advocacy services for children and families through its adoption program. It administers the Intensive In-Home Services program, which includes intensive support and in-home mentoring and home counseling services for delinquent youths and families. The Ennis Center for Children maintains a location in Flint, Mich.

Ennis Center for Children is a wonderful loving professional organization, dedicated to the children and families both biological and foster/adoptive. The Staff is committed to meet and exceed all expectations of them.They have become a part of our family through the many years we have been with them, they have walked with us through many trying times provided both support and understanding and shown what a Team really is.They have also been at our side to be a part of the glory when the children succeed and excel in life.Fostering is a very rewarding experience & has been a very important part of our entire family.
