My sister has been here over a year now. They have history of being late with her meds. Administration from Lansing had to be called to try to straighten them out. Like kids do, they straightened out for a little while, but soon after, it was business as usual. Recently, she began having enough improvements to begin making attempts to finally get home. Before we knew it she started having tremors and convulsions. Against the Center's wishes my niece called for an ambulance. The medics reported that she had done the right thing and that it was the right choice. Obviously, it was the Center's opinion that it was unnecessary. Looked like to me they were trying to cover something up. Hopefully, she'll leave there in one piece.

If I could give them a rating below a one-star I would! Absolutely do not send you a relative here if you care about them. They are not only abusive and neglectful. They just don't care. The staff abandons patients. I have seen them leave one Aid on an entire floor of over 30 people. They are rude and unfriendly. Patients go up to 4 to 5 hours at a time without being changed. I have reported them to Lansing. If the state cares anything about the well-being of the people in its system, they should close this place down!

This nursing Home does not take good care of their patients. They leave them in bed most of the day if they need assistance getting up. and treat them badly. My Brother has been here for several years and my brothers teeth and glasses were stolen and they will not even help him get replacements.He has had two strokes in their and his one hand is crippled. He needs assistance getting up and into the bathroom, The workers put a diaper on him and leave him in bed almost all day, with no physical therapy so they are not bothered by him.very sad. That the workers sit around and talk and joke all day instead of taking care of their patients.I would give them 0 star rating but I have to choose one.
