We were in the facility for FOUR HOURS, for what was scheduled as a 15-minute procedure. My wife was scheduled 1:00-1:15 pm. She was finally taken to the procedure room at 3:00. Zero communication from staff regarding the ever-lengthening delay, no apologies, no updates, nothing. When I finally asked, I was told she was next. 30 minutes later, she was finally on the way in. Absolutely lousy service. If the procedures are going to take longer than 15 minutes, schedule them for longer than 15 minutes. If there are delays for other reasons, provide that information to your patients, who are, after all, your paying customers. If you have the option to go elsewhere, do so. Otherwise you'll be spending most of your day for an endoscopic procedure that is supposed to take a quarter of an hour.
