Provided by YP.comRepocast is a company that profits by deceiving both parties involved and for every $100.00 dollars spent at repocast they skim over 50% ... Here is how it works at repocast when you bring items in to sell they ask you to fill out a contract and on that contract there is a area for items to be described and they ask that it is detailed things like size ,condition make model ect. Problem is say I put that my lawn mower doesn't start they will put on the final auction description " untested " or " in used condition " if you list something like shop vac or a camp stove and you say it broken they will put " untested " or item " might need work " basically they don't ever bluntly admit what type of work a item needs or if repairing the item would even make sence ! A vacuum sweeper with a blown engine is a lot different than a vacuum sweeper that needs a new belt ... Another thing with Repocast that is totally unethical is how they blatenly encourage sellers to bid on there own items ! I was selling a car there a while back and when I asked to set a reserve price they told me sir all you have to do is set up a account in your wife's name and bid on the item unwell you reach a comfortable price if you end up winning the item you pay for it but you will get your money back minus the 25% sellers commission and the 13% buyers premium and the $50.00 delist fee and the $ 5.00 list fee and the sales tax ! So if I win the bid om my own item just to realist my item it will cost me 38% of what the item was auctioned off for plus $50.00 ! A item that sells for $100.00 will cost you $104.00 just realist it ! And say you deside you just want to take your item back home it will then only cost you $99.00. So u will get a check in the mail fo $ 1.00 in short Repocast and all the othe Auctions hosted by Miedema are ran just like this as I have bought and sold threw many of them ... This should be illegal if it isn't already ! I could go on about how they sell items at distant locations and then offer Shipping that cost more than the item was that you need shipped or how they never refund money even if the item you won in auction get stolen or if the item you drop off to sell gets stolen ! They only offer gift cards for there auction ! They list items as " new " when they are used or " uninstalled " when they were clearly previously installed ect. Then they always say one of two things .. You should have looked more closely at the pictures or you should have cam out and previewed the item before you bid.on it ..Question if the description on a lawn rake reads ". New, never used Lawn rake ". Why would I look threw the picture to see if it has a broken handle? Why would I drive 40 minutes to look at a rake that is said to be BRAND NEW ? It's a rake!
BOTTOM LINE .. Don't TRUST them ! Period!

Provided by YP.comThis business is a rip off. I bought a product stated "in working condition" and after I got it I found out that just because it will turn on, doesnt mean it is working. I talked to them about this and was treated very rudely. They offered to re-sell it at the next auction. I said I wanted the description changed though. So they listed it again and did not say ANYTHING about the working condition - even though they knew it was not working. It sold allright for more than I paid for it. So they double dipped on this item and the thing is not even working and they know it!! No business ethics here!
