Great product and service.

I'm a snowboard instructor, and I would NOT recommend shopping at Shumakers. One, the staff working there really don't know the first thing about a snowboard. Yes, granted that they do say that they ride but they probably never got off the bunny hill. Second, the people that work there work on commission, so they will try and sell you what the shop owner wants them to sell. Most of the guys out there wouldn't know a good snowboard set up if it was laying in front of them because the shop has gotten rid of a lot of big snowboard companies like Fourm. Last, Shumakers is over priced and it would be cheaper to shop on-line. If you are new to snowboarding, stop in and get an idea of what you want to buy, then buy it on-line. the last time I was in the shop, one of the employees tried selling a kid snowboard stickers for $5 when the company will send you and Shumakers stickers for free (all you need to do is go on-line and e-mail the company). In conclusion, save your self a little money and shop on-line.
