A company with a kind heart and great customer service I began a home project this summer, re-painting our 22 shutters and discovered about 15 missing screw caps. I couldn't find an exact match locally and discovered the exact plastic dome caps on Ark-Plas' web site. Unfortunately, I was told that the minimum order is $50, which would have meant an order of 4,000 screw caps, just a "bit" more than the 15 I needed. Ark-Plas Customer Service was able to get a sample shipment of 17 caps (15 plus 2 spares) approved for me at no cost. Samples are usually limited to a few, but an exception was granted and approved for me. Good thing the item was in stock! If I have an opportunity, through my contacts, to send business their way, I will do so without hesitation.
