What a beautiful restaurant! Great food, and the people are all friendly, they sang and played an instrument for my son on his birthday and gave him a Buddha as a gift! Really good food and atmosphere. LOVE IT!

We have been eating here for 2 years.. We love it.. Always a pleasure.

We had a large family (19) which I am sure was difficult to accomodate but the staff did an excellent job of getting all of the family at one table. We were served by two chefs, at separate times, so part of the family had to wait to eat. However, the second chef was there before the first chef completely finished, so the wait was not long. The plus side was that we all enjoyed two cooking shows. The cooks were entertaining in different ways. Both chefs were friendly and attentive, especially to the children. Actually the entire staff was attentive and friendly. The food tasted great. The water features scattered around and the special lighting added to the fun atmosphere. The gratuity was added to the ticket which was expected and acceptable. We all agreed that Umi Steakhouse in Florence is a good place to go for food and entertainment.

Watch yourself at UMI. Left cash on table for tip - used debit card to pay (drew line thru tip) - got my bankstatement and they decided to leave themselves a nice little EXTRA tip. Will be reporting to BBB!!!
