The club is filthy, the equipment is in constant disrepair, and the staff doesn't seem to care.

Most of the Pt's are disrespectful and ignore non Pt clients. They seem to specialize in bait and switch. It starts with you will get this for a certain price and then when the Pt talked to the Pt manager they couldn't honor that price. But if you sign up for a year.....

This was a typical interaction with the front desk staff."excuse me, their are paper towels all over the floor in the restroom" staff of two at the front rest replied "ok will get on it..." After my two hr workout the paper towels were still on the floor and the staff was still at the desk...

I have been going to FitWorks for a few months now and am quite pleased with the facility. The equipment may not be completely brand new, but it is in good shape for the most part and there are so many weights it's awesome! The place is kept pretty clean and the cardio theater is a unique and cool feature. Most of the staff I've dealt with have been pleasant, however, I've had an unprofessional experience with management.



When you sign up, there is apparently supposed to be this "facility maintenance" fee which each member of the gym is charged annually for $39. No big deal, right? Well, it isn't if you're told about it. However, I was never told about it or signed anything agreeing to pay it when I started my FitWorks membership. The manager tried to tell me I had signed it in my contract and initialed it, but I had a copy of my contract and did not initial or sign to any such thing. Luckily, I called the corporate office and they confirmed this for me and refunded the charge. I thought it was unprofessional and quite shady. While I do like going to FitWorks, I will definitely be more careful and will consider not renewing my membership in a few months if issues like this occur again.

This place is horrible, they double charged my checking account. Later on I went to cancel for medical reasons and they continued to charge my account even though I was told my account was canceled. I have been trying for days to get this resolved and they have been taking large chunks of money out, the last for $262 dollars. My bank says they can do anything because it was a debit and not a credit. Absoluelty upsurd. I do not advice anyone going here. A bunch of crooks out to get your money!
