Five Bears Outfitters Welcome to our website. At Five Bears Outfitters we offer a variety of Idaho & Montana backcountry horseback opportunities stressing quality. Including viewing for elk, whitetail & muledeer, black bear, mountain goats, moose, and other wildlife. There is fantastic scenery, a premier blue ribbon trout stream and excellent high mountain lakes, fly fishing, summer pack trips, and big game hunts. We are licensed both in Idaho in the Clearwater National Forest, Unit 10, Kelly Creek drainage, and Montana in the Lolo National Forest, Schley Mountain area. Both areas are in the proposed Great Burn Wilderness. We are dedicated to providing a true backcountry experience. We offer comfortable camps, hearty meals, and a capable and friendly crew. Our horses and mules are seasoned, gentle and trained for the mountain travel we do. We will gladly work hard to put together a memorable trip for you, your family or group.
