S&W Manufacturing, a division of Smead Manufacturing, offers filing and organizational products to authorized dealers. The company began in 1903 with the founding of the Shaw-Walker Company. The company changed its name and ownership in 1990 when its management acquired the assets of Shaw-Walker Information System Division. In 1992, S&W Manufacturing purchased the ACME Visible Records paper based filing systems division. In 2001, Smead Manufacturing acquired S&W Manufacturing.
