Parker Junior High School is operated by the Flossmoor School District 161 and provides education to students in grades six through eight. The school s academic curriculum includes classes in language arts, mathematics, science and social science. Parker Junior High School s foreign language department teaches Spanish and French to develop the listening, speaking, reading and writing skills of students. The art department of the school offers classes in pottery, and 2-D and 3-D artwork. Students are required to produce a work involving the use of digital photo manipulation in conjunction with the use of traditional art materials. Parker Junior High School s sport programs include badminton, basketball, hockey, golf, in-line skating, football, softball, soccer, table tennis, team handball and volleyball. The school is located in Flossmoor, Ill.
