Unprofessional. Striegel will gladly give low ball estimates and then never show up to do the job. Don't waste your time.

I contacted this company in August of 2014 to see about getting an estimate on paving my elderly grandmothers driveway. I was told that they would be happy to give me the estimate and perform the work and would be in contact within the week. That was over 3 weeks ago..i had not heard anything from them. So today I called to find out if they had forgotten about me. I was told that they were just too busy to come out and give the estimate that I was promised! You would think they could at least call back! Apparently. .they have so much money that they dont need anymore business! Thats what they told me anyway..that they didn't have time to do the job! I find this very unprofessional. They will NEVER get a central out of me! Too many people out there that are willing to keep promises..and do the work they say they will do.

I had 4 estimates and these guys were not only the cheapest but also the best at what they offered. Their work was professional and clean. They did a great job.

Family owned and operated business for more then 30 yrs. I researched, through the BBB, for asphalt co. that had an A plus rating with no complaints and had been in bussiness at least 15 yrs. I chose 4 local co. for estimates. I was wanting a 15x20 parking area added to my existing double wide driveway. I asked for est. for both total replacement plus addition and a est. for addition and cap on existing. Working in the heavy construction business all my life, I knew when I met and talked with Pete Striegel that they were the co. for me. They did a total replacement with addition for less then any of the other bids, which all were to just cap the existing with addition. The Striegel crew arrived and removed, dug out, rocked and rolled one day, Because I had a wet area in the new sections that was "Pumping" when rolled, Pete recommended to wait until the area dried to asphalt. Something I consider "top quality". I feel a lot of other companies would have just asphalted over that area before it dried, in order to get paid. Quality work, at a fare price, with a crew that has been with the company for many years. That says alot. Highly recommended!
