i could not have been more displeased. 1st time customer venturing from nyc for the lure of a $25 haircut and got what i paid for. i found out about the salon from a friend who is a customer and has had a far better result in the past.

my first issue, the business only deals in cash. as a customer, i'd like to pay with whatever method i choose, needless to say, i had to make a run to the atm. since they don't take appointments you'll likely wait which is fine, but children were running around with attention barely being paid to them.

the long head massage everyone speaks of could've been relaxing had a conversation with a co-worker was not happening right above me.

then the haircut. i never combed my knots out before while a hairdresser tends to another customer. what the heck? i felt like more of a nuisance than the customer. i asked to keep my hair long with some volume on top and the hairdresser made me feel assured she knew what i meant. lots of hacking into my hair has left me with short layers i can't wait to grow out
