It all began in 1993, when two local boys in Gulf Shores, Alabama decided to open up a casual family-focused seafood restaurant on the Gulf Coast. The idea was to create a restaurant where people would feel welcome to be themselves, families could afford to dine out together and strangers would leave as friends. Coastal vacationers demanded that Shrimp Basket expand to provide this incredible seafood value to those unable to be at the beach year round. Today, weĆ¢??re happy to offer locations across the Southeast for family and friends to feel a part of the beach, dine and enjoy delicious seafood! At the Shrimp Basket, our goal is to make sure that you - our friends - leave happy and satisfied after every visit.

We just left after having two ...

We just left after having two fried oyster dinners and the food as well as the service was very poor considering that we live in Foley, and used to eat here all the time. The oysters were crunchy, dry, and overcooked to the point that they had no taste. Will give this place one more try and if not better will cross it off of our list of places to eat in Foley.

horrible

That was the worst dining experience I've ever had. The waitresses were rude and inattentive and the food was horrible, cold and stale. Very disappointed

Best Food Ever

My husband and I ate here and we highly enjoyed this establishment. I had the steamed shrimp and he had the fried shrimp and both were just excellent. We also had a dozen of raw oysters and there were delicious also. Service was good and the restaurant was very clean..

Bad Service

The food here is good and the service on our first trip was great. On a second trip we got a large order for 10 to go and two of us went in to pick up the order. On this trip the service was terrible, the cashier argued with us about why we couldn't have tartar sauce on a to go order and how many packs of ketchup we could have per dinner. The food was still good the second time but we will not be back, we had an order that totaled $150 and were yelled at over the condiments, not worth the trip.
