Beware! Prior to procedure read every document before signing. Does your insurance cover heavy sedation? Anthem Blue Cross does not. Folsom Anesthesia knows this very well, so they buried a release in the pre-surgery paperwork, you know the ten pages of fine print legalese that you are given two minutes to glance at before signing your rights away. You will not be given a choice as to the type of sedation used, so you better make sure that you insurance covers it. Do not trust Folsom Anesthesia, they knew our insurance would not cover heavy sedation, they said Anthem Blue Cross denies it every time. Now we are stuck with the bill.
